I just propped up the play mat over two chairs and we played with a flashlight and pretend food stuff. He enjoyed popping in and out of the makeshift tent. We had a pretend doctor set to play pretend doctor. Sensory bins: just popped in some pompoms in a baking tray filled with water and a few spoons. He enjoyed scooping the pompoms out, squeezing the water out of them and then soaking them again. Bingo: Printed out some pairs of pictures and get him to pick matching pictures, reward is bubbles! Lorax: Made a hand puppet lorax to dance and jump to celebrate Dr.Seuss birthday! We also tried watching the Lorax story on YouTube but patience ran out quickly and we watched around 10-15 minutes of it. Cocomelon song Sorry Excuse me with actions was a big hit this week. This month we also had 'One Potato, Two Potato' and 'I like to eat eat eat Apples and Bananas' from Cocomelon on loop in the house!
