September Activities In Detail

 - Songs:    Jump Song [Patty Shukla, YouTube]

            Action Song- Row row row your boat [Ms.Rachel, YouTube]

            Dance Party - Freeze Dance [Kiboomers, Spotify]

            Opposites song - [This is big big big, this is small small small]

- Smell Test- I used cotton balls dipped in vinegar, rose water, coffee and vanilla essence.

- Animal sounds- this time I played the audio of animal sounds to guess the animal.

- Dress yourself- we seem to be in a phase of silly play, he loves if I wear his pants over my head as a cap so its a lot of silly time!

- Stacking game: We stacked cups and tried to knock down the cup tower with small balls.

- Movie time was just a Peppa Pig Youtube video that was like a combined 6 episodes, around 30-45 minutes.

- Sensory bin: I hid pictures of a vegetable, fruit, an animal an alphabet and a letter in a container with rice and gave a few spoons and a measuring cup. 

- Making windchime- We got this DIY packet from the Dollar store and tried that. 

Make a hat - We just tried a variety of things as a hat- saucepan, clothes, baskets, etc and made silly faces in the mirror.

- Bake- we did a Betty Crocker easy cake bake box from Walmart.

- Make a collage - we stuck yellow orange and green craft paper pieces on a tree cut out for a Fall Collage.

- Make a dream Catcher- attempted a felt paper dream catcher with wool bits threaded. It was a little too complicated for him and required some patience so was not a hit.
